Lloyd joined the Hospitality Industry in the early 1970s during the tourist boom in Sri Lanka. As a trainee he was afforded the art of learning the finer points in Eastern and Western cookery under Sri Lankan and foreign chefs. He is currently attached to the Galadari hotel, a five star property as the Executive Chef. He is responsible for all restaurants, main kitchen and other satellite kitchens. An all rounder par excellence he is also the current live Culinary Demonstrator for the last five consecutive years over a very popular television channel. His association with the Win Stone as a guest lecturer has won him many accolades from fans and students. People around the world in India, Pakistan, Dubai, Singapore, Japan and France have had the honor to savour his food during festivals. He counts over thirty-two years of service of which he has spent twenty-two years with loyalty and dedication at the Galadari Hotel.
