Chef Publis Silva is an icon in Traditional Sri Lankan Cookery. He has been performing a yeoman service to expose Sri Lanka 's culinary Art to the international arena throughout his career of over 40 years. Chef Publis started his career as a trainee in the Mount Lavinia Hotel and is currently the Director, Culinary and Special Promotions in the same hotel. During his career he has been conducting research studies, experiments and training programmes to create indigenous culinary standards to Sri Lanka .
